EB-5 Processing times

 

USCIS has published its most recent EB-5 processing times  for I-526 Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur applications and for I-829 Petitions by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions under the EB-5 Immigrant Investor program.  As of January 31, 2014, I-526 applications filed on or before March 31, 2013 will take about one year to process, and I-829 petitions filed on or before February 28, 2013 are an almost two-year wait however , I-829 applicants are already permanent residents and are accruing time towards their eligibility for US citizenship during this wait period.

Furthermore, USCIS has recently updated its 2013 Fiscal Year EB-5 statistics with data through September 30, 2013.  Denials rates for I-526 denial rate dropped under 15% and the approval rate exceeded 85%, an incase over the previous year of 1%.

The I-829 denial rate was a low 3.5% which was over a 60% decrease on the 2012 denial rate.
